ABOUT

UTR: 4.37

OVERALL ABILITY ON THE COURT:

Good attitude and incredible mental strength

Good defensive game

Crosscourt strokes

I consider myself a person with a good attitude, which helps me maintain a good strategy at every point of the match. Additionally, I like to emphasize my fighting spirit, which allows me to fight, not give up at any point, and be focused entirely on the match.

Additionally, I am a player who works on coordination, so I maintain a good rhythm in long points and can reasonably move around the entire court.

Finally, my backhand slice is a good alternative that I apply offensively and defensively, allowing me to build the point more effectively and safely.

STRENGTHS ON THE COURT:

Strong Forehand

Good Backhand Slice

Fast on court

Good defensive skills

Good Footwork

My forehand is my primary weapon; it allows me to move my opponent and make my moves when starting the point. It is worth highlighting the confidence I feel when playing with the backhand, and it is a shot that allows me to maintain myself and change the rhythm during a point. And finally, with the slice, I feel comfortable, not to mention the ease with which it allows me to change the height and speed of the ball.

RESUME:

The first time I met this sport, I was 11 years old. I started practicing in a club in the city of Bogotá. I was there for 6 months, where I learned everything related to the technique and fundamentals of feet; after that, I began to visit different clubs looking for a variety of personalized classes; at first, I did not have time to play almost any departmental tournament due to academic issues and later the pandemic, during the pandemic I moved to the city of Bucaramanga where I have been training with the league and other academies for 3 years. Still, until 2024, I participated in national tournaments. In my first tournament, I advanced to the second round and lost against the number one seed; it was an experience that motivated me to continue working hard, and every day, it taught me the value of being constant and disciplined.

HOBBIES AND PERSONAL INTEREST

I am a person who likes languages. I speak Spanish and English, but I am learning French. Among my hobbies, I mainly enjoy listening to music, traveling, and watching soccer or other sports.

My favorite subject is mathematics, so I would focus on studying engineering.

One of my main interests is knowing and handling topics related to the economic sector to generate an opportunity in tennis to be accessible to everyone.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS A PERSON

I am punctual and committed to any goal I set for myself. Thanks to tennis, I have developed my discipline. It has helped me manage anxiety, frustration, and pressure. It should be noted that I am not a very extroverted person, but tennis has helped me to trust and meet many people. Finally, my family is a fundamental factor in my development since they push me and give me the courage to continue dreaming big. That is why studies, tennis, and my family are the three most important things that have shaped me as I am today.
