ABOUT

OVERALL ABILITY ON THE COURT:
I am a competitive tennis player with an aggressive baseline-oriented game. I look to dictate points from the back of the court by applying constant pressure, controlling rallies, and identifying opportunities to attack and finish points efficiently.

STRENGTHS ON THE COURT:
My main strengths are my left-handed serve and forehand, which I use to play aggressively and take control of points. I consistently look to use my forehand to attack my opponent’s backhand and create advantages during rallies. I also have a solid, reliable two-handed backhand that helps me stay consistent in baseline exchanges.

PRACTICE ROUTINE
From Tuesday to Friday, I train in tennis from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by physical training from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., either on court or in the gym.
On Saturdays and Sundays, I train in tennis from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. I complete physical training in the gym

RESUME:
I began playing tennis at the age of six, developing my athletic base through sports such as soccer and golf. I started competing in interclub events in Bogotá and progressed to national-level tournaments across Colombia.
During my development years, I participated in summer training programs with Fernando Valdajos and completed summer training periods in the United States at Gómez Tennis Academy under René Gómez. At fifteen, I took part in a student exchange in Germany, training at First Line Tennis Academy (FLTA), founded by Thomas Lopez, and working briefly with Christian Groh. I competed in open money tournaments against experienced players, gaining valuable match toughness.
I am a left-handed player with experience in singles and doubles. I competed in COSAT events and later on the ITF Junior Circuit.
I speak Spanish, German, and English, and adapt quickly to team-based, multicultural academic and athletic environments.

HOBBIES AND PERSONAL INTEREST
My interests are strongly related to sports and an active lifestyle. I play golf, which supports my tennis development by reinforcing focus, precision, and competitive discipline. Earlier in my development, I practiced chess, which helped build my strategic thinking and decision-making skills. I also follow high-level sports competitions, particularly tennis, soccer, American football, basketball, and Formula 1, which reflects my continued interest in performance, competition, and teamwork.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS A PERSON
I consider myself a disciplined, organized, and competitive student-athlete with a strong sense of responsibility. I am fully committed to my training routine and to continuous improvement, both athletically and personally. I approach daily work with consistency, accountability, and a positive mindset in training and competition. I value respect, teamwork, and dedication, and I take pride in contributing to a positive team culture, both on and off the court.
